found.
Source_Notes
Comments on the object names, including the two pairs of
identical objects and alternative FBS names (erroneously used in previous
publications).
DSS1_RA
The DSS1 Right Ascension of the object in the J2000 equinox in
sexagesimal coordinates. This should be accurate to 1 arcsecond rms.
DSS1_Dec
The DSS1 Declination of the object in the J2000 equinox in
sexagesimal coordinates. This should be accurate to 1 arcsecond rms.
RA
The DSS2 red Right Ascension of the object in the selected equinox (given
in J2000 coordinates to a precision of 0.01 seconds of time in the original
table). This should be accurate to 1 arcsecond rms.
Dec
The DSS2 red Declination of the object in the selected equinox (given
in J2000 coordinates to a precision of 0.1 arcseconds in the original
table). This should be accurate to 1 arcsecond rms.
LII
The Galactic Longitude of the object.
BII
The Galactic Latitude of the object.
PM_RA
The proper motion of the object in the Right Ascension direction,
in mas/yr.
PM_Dec
The proper motion of the object in the Declination direction,
in mas/yr.
PM_Tot
The total proper motion of the object,
in mas/yr.
PM_Dir
The position angle of the proper motion of the object, in degrees.
Extent_Type
A Flag parameter [s or g] which indicates whether the object
has a Star or Galaxy DSS1+2 image extension type. This is similar to MAPS
classification, which gives an understanding of extension. This is important
for magnitude measurements and may lead to large errors in the case of
misclassification (up to 3-4 mag). This particular type is a revised MAPS
type based on a careful study of the DSS1/DSS2 images.
FBS_Type
The FBS low-dispersion spectral (LDS) type of the object, as
explained in Mickaelian (2000, A&A Trans., 18, 557, for example.
DSS_Notes
Comments on any peculiarities in the DSS1/DSS2 images of the
object, e.g., binaries, nearby objects, possible variables, etc.
FBS_Bmag
The published FBS magnitude of the object, corresponding to the
B magnitude, as given in the FBS lists.
MAPS_Omag
The MAPS O magnitude of the object, based on the author's
extension classification, i.e., taken from diameter or integral measurement.
