INTIBISGAL - INTEGRAL IBIS 9-Year Galactic Hard X-Ray Survey Catalog |

The authors aimed to perform a Galactic survey that could be used as the basis of Galactic source population studies, and performed mapping of the Milky Way in hard X-rays over the maximum exposure available at Galactic latitudes |b| < 17.5 degrees. They used sky reconstruction algorithms especially developed for the high quality imaging of INTEGRAL/IBIS data. In their paper. they presented sky images, sensitivity maps, and catalogs of detected sources in the three energy bands 17 - 60, 17 - 35, and 35 - 80 keV in the Galactic plane at |b| < 17.5 degrees. The total number of sources in the reference 17 - 60 keV band includes 402 objects exceeding a 4.7-sigma detection threshold on the nine-year time-averaged map. Among the identified sources with known and tentatively identified natures, 253 are Galactic objects (108 low-mass X-ray binaries, 82 high-mass X-ray binaries, 36 cataclysmic variables, and 27 are of other types), and 115 are extragalactic objects, including 112 active galactic nuclei and 3 galaxy clusters. The sample of Galactic sources with S/N > 4.7 sigma has an identification completeness of ~92%, which is valuable for population studies. Since the survey is based on the nine-year sky maps, it is optimized for persistent sources and may be biased against finding transients.
This table contains the catalog of 402 INTEGRAL sources exceeding the detection threshold in the 17 - 60 keV energy band.

Source_Number
A unique source number for each source in the catalog in
order of increasing J2000.0 Right Ascension.
Name
The source name. Their common names are given for sources whose nature
was known before their detection by INTEGRAL. Sources discovered by INTEGRAL
or those whose nature was established thanks to INTEGRAL observations are
named with an 'IGR' prefix.
RA
The Right Ascension of the INTEGRAL source in the selected equinox.
This was given in J2000.0 decimal degrees to a precision of 0.001 degrees
(3.6 arcseconds) in the original table.
Dec
The Declination of the INTEGRAL source in the selected equinox.
This was given in J2000.0 decimal degrees to a precision of 0.001 degrees
(3.6 arcseconds) in the original table.
LII
The Galactic Longitude of the INTEGRAL source.
BII
The Galactic Latitude of the INTEGRAL source.
Confusion_Flag
This flag paramter is set to 1 to indicate the presence of
spatial confusion. In such cases, the source flux should be taken with caution.
In the notes parameter, the presence of spatial confusion with the source with
source number XXX is indicated by the notation 'CXXX'.
Flux
The time-averaged source flux in the 17 - 60 keV band, in milliCrabs.
The source flux was measured in the nine-year time-averaged map
(Dec 2002 - Jan 2011). In this energy band, 1 mCrab is equivalent to
1.43E-11 erg s-1 cm-2.
Flux_Error
The uncertainty in the time-averaged source flux in the 17 - 60
keV band, in milliCrabs.
SB_Flux
The time-averaged source flux in the 17 - 35 keV band, in
milliCrabs. The source flux was measured in the nine-year time-averaged map
(Dec 2002 - Jan 2011). In this energy band, 1 mCrab is equivalent to
8.41E-12 erg s-1 cm-2.
SB_Flux_Error
The uncertainty in the time-averaged source flux in the 17 -
35 keV band, in milliCrabs.
HB_Flux
The time-averaged source flux in the 35 - 80 keV band, in
milliCrabs. The source flux was measured in the nine-year time-averaged map
(Dec 2002 - Jan 2011). In this energy band, 1 mCrab is equivalent to
8.92E-12 erg s-1 cm-2.
HB_Flux_Error
The uncertainty in the time-averaged source flux in the
35 - 80 keV band, in milliCrabs.
Source_Type
The general astrophysical type of the object as follows:
