Name
A commonly used designation for the source. Sources discovered by the
WFC have been given J2000.0 position-based names with the 'WFC' prefix, e.g.,
'WFC J1452-5708'.
Source_Flag
A non-blank value of this flag parameter indicates a note
for the particular source which is coded as follows:
b = a new detection with respect to Verrecchia et al. (2007, A&A, 472, 705). 1 = data containing Sco X-1 were too noisy to be added in the total mosaic map. 2 = see Section 4.2.1 of the reference paper.
RA
The Right Ascension of the WFC source in the selected equinox. This
was given in J2000.0 decimal degrees to a precision of 0.001 degrees in the
original table in the reference paper.
Dec
The Declination of the WFC source in the selected equinox. This
was given in J2000.0 decimal degrees to a precision of 0.001 degrees in the
original table in the reference paper.
LII
The Galactic Longitude of the WFC source.
BII
The Galactic Latitude of the WFC source.
SNR
The number of sigma of the WFC source detection.
Error_Radius
The radius of the error circle (90% confidence) of the source,
extrapolated from Figure 5 of the reference paper and with the systematic
error included, in arcseconds (converted from the arcminutes used in the
original table).
Flux_3_17_keV
The average estimated 3-17 keV flux of the source, in mCrab
(see Section 4.1 of the reference paper for more details).
Flux_3_17_keV_Error
The uncertainty in the 3-17 keV flux of the source, in
mCrab. This includes both the statistical and the systematic errors (see
Section 3.4 of the reference paper for more details.
Flux_17_28_keV
The average estimated 17-28 keV flux of the source, in mCrab
(see Section 4.1 of the reference paper for more details).
Flux_17_28_keV_Error
The uncertainty in the 17-28 keV flux of the source,
in mCrab. This includes both the statistical and the systematic errors (see
Section 3.4 of the reference paper for more details.
Source_Type
The source type classification according to the following
schema:
AGNs: active galactic nuclei; BL Lac: BL Lac object; cluster: cluster of galaxies; CV: cataclysmic variable; HMXB: high-mass X-ray binary; LMXB: low-mass X-ray binary; QSO: quasar; RGal: Radio Galaxy; RSCVn: RS Canum Venaticorum variable; SNR: supernova remnant; Sy1: Seyfert 1 galaxy; Sy2: Seyfert 2 galaxy; unid: unidentified source; StC: star cluster, XRB: galactic X-ray binary; XP: X-ray pulsar.
Source_Subtype
The source subtype classification according to the
following schema:
A: atoll-type source (neutron star); B: burster (neutron star); Be: B-type emission-line star; BHC: black hole candidate; D: dipping; DN: dwarf nova; G: globular cluster X-ray source; IP: intermediate polar; M: microquasar, P: polar; symb: symbiotic star; SG: supergiant; Z: Z-type source.
Class
The HEASARC Browse object classification, based on the source_subtype
and source_type parameter values.
