HXD_Expo_WAM
The HXD WAM total exposure during this observation, in seconds.
HXD_Bursts
The number of HXD bursts detected within this observation.
Processing_Status
This records the status of the processing of the data from the observation.
The strings are PROCESSED or UNPROCESSED. If the string is PROCESSED implies
that the data are located in the archive however they may be enscrypted (see
paramter 'public_date'). If the string is UNPROCESSED implies that the data
have not been processed, either because not observed yet or because not yet
in the archive.
Processing_Date
This records the date when the data were processed.
If a data set has been processed more than one time, it reports the date
of the last processing.
Public_Date
This is the date when the data are expected to be public. This date is set when
the data are first distributed to the PI. If the value is set to 2099-12-31 implies
that either the data have not been processed or the public date has not been sey yet.
Suzaku data has one year of propriety period. The data will arrive in the
archive soon after the processing is completed but they will be in encrypting
form. They will be decrypted accordingly with the public date.
Distribution_Date
This records the date when the data were first distributed
to the PI which typically corresponds to the first time the data have been processed.
Processing_Version
This records the version of the processing script used in the pipeline to
generate the data products for the observation.
Num_Processed
This records the number of times a data set has been processed using the same
processing version of the script.
Software_Version
This records the version of the HEAsoft and Suzaku software used in the
processing pipeline to generate the data products of the observation.
Prnb
This number uniquely indentifies the proposal that originated the observation.
This is a string of 6 digits : CCNxxx. The first digits 'CC" identifies
the proposal cycle, e.g. '01' is for AO1. To the performance verification time
(SWG Time) this is set to '00'. The third digit 'N' defines the nationality
of the proposal: 0=Japan, 1=US, 2=Europe, 3=merged with Japan PI, 4=merged with U.S.
PI, 5=calibration. The last 3 digits are sequentially numbered and set by
individual sites accepting proposals.
Abstract
This paramater contains the abstract submitted at the time of the proposal.
Subject_Category
The subject category of the proposal. The following are the possible subject
categories: non-pointing data; calibration; galactic point sources;
galactic diffuse emission; extragalactic compact sources; extragalatic
diffuse sources; Gamma-ray bursts and other non-proposed TOOs.
Category_Code
Each proposal category is assigned a code, as follows: 0=non-pointing data;
1=calibration; 4=galactic point sources; 5=galactic diffuse emission;
7=extragalactic compact sources; 8=extragalatic diffuse sources;
9=Gamma-ray bursts and other non-proposed TOOs.
Priority
The priority of the proposal. The priority values are A, B or C.
PI_LName
The last name of the proposal's Principal Investigator. This is set to 'SWG'
for observation taken during the SWG timeframe.
PI_FName
The first name of the proposal's Principal Investigator.
CoPI_LName
The last name of the proposal's Co-Principal Investigator. The Co-Principal
Investigator is only specified for merged US-Japan and Japan-US proposals.
CoPI_FName
The first name of the proposal's Co-Principal Investigator.
Country
The country of the proposal's Principal Investigator. This is a string with
the following possible values: USA (PI from U.S.), JAP (PI from Japan),
EUR (PI from Europe), JUS (merged proposal: PI from Japan, Co-PI from USA),
USJ (merged proposal: PI from US, Co-PI from Japan). In addition the string
'JAPAN' is also assigned to calibration observations.
Cycle
The cycle number of the proposal. This is a numeric value, e.g., 1 identifies
AO1. The value of 0 is assigned to the SWG time.
Obs_Type
The type of observation. The strings are : SWG, AOn, AOn-KP, AOn-LP, AOn-CAL,
SWG-TOO, AOn-TOO and TOO. The strings SWG and AOn are assigned for normal observations.
AOn-KP and AOn-LP are assigned to observations part of a Key or Large proposal.
Calibration observations are identified by AOn-CAL. The value TOO is assigned to
targets of opportunity not requested during the normal proposal cycle.
SWG-TOO and AOn-TOO are assigned when the TOO is requested during the proposal
cycle or the SWG time.
Title
The title of the proposal that originated the observation.
Aimpoint
The Suzaku nominal pointing. The values "XIS" or "HXD" indicate
whether the source location was at the maximum efficency for the XIS or HXD
instruments. The value of "SPE" is given when the observation is made with the
offset respect to the "XIS" or "HXD" aimpoints.
Injection
This is a flag which identifies whether or not the observation was carried
out with charge injection in the XIS.
