XMMOMSUOB - XMM-Newton Optical Monitor SUSS Catalog, v6.1: Observation IDs |

The number of observations (OBSIDs) included in the catalog is 12,057. This table (XMMOMSUOB) contains the list of these observations and their characteristics, giving for each observation the filters used, the exposure time for each filter, the number of sources detected in each filter and the detection magnitude limit for each filter. The total number of entries in this release is 9,920,390. They correspond to 6,659,554 unique sources, of which 1,225,117 have multiple entries in the source table, corresponding to different observations. This list of sources is available at the HEASARC as the XMMOMSUSS table.

N_Summary
This is a reference number index for the XMM-Newton pointing in which the
particular detection was made, providing a cross-referencing system allowing
users to couple a source to its parent observation.
XMM_Revolution
The XMM-Newton revolution number in which the observation occurred, i.e., the
number of 48-hour orbits which had elapsed since the launch of XMM-Newton up
to the date of the observation. The observations contained in this table
extend from revolution number 34 (February 14, 2000) to revolution number
2850 (July 3, 2015).
ObsID
This parameter contains the exclusive 10-digit XMM-Newton observation
identification number or ObsID of the observation.
Name
The name of the target of the XMM-Newton pointing as given by the proposer of
the observation.
RA
The nominal Right Ascension of the XMM-Newton pointing, in the requested
equinox. This was given in J2000.0 decimal degrees in the original table.
Dec
The nominal Declination of the XMM-Newton pointing, in the requested equinox.
This was given in J2000.0 decimal degrees in the original table.
LII
The Galactic Longitude of the nominal XMM-Newton pointing
BII
The Galactic Latitude of the nominal XMM-Newton pointing
Time
The start time of the OM observation (not necessarily the same as the start
time of the X-ray observation, notice).
End_Time
The end time of the OM observation (not necessarily the same as the end time
of the X-ray observation, notice).
Filters
The list of OM filters that were used during the observation.
U_Exposure
The exposure time during the observation in the U-band filter, in seconds.
B_Exposure
The exposure time during the observation in the B-band filter, in seconds.
V_Exposure
The exposure time during the observation in the V-band filter, in seconds.
UVW2_Exposure
The exposure time during the observation in the UVW2-band filter, in seconds.
UVM2_Exposure
The exposure time during the observation in the UVM2-band filter, in seconds.
UVW1_Exposure
The exposure time during the observation in the UVW1-band filter, in seconds.
Number_Sources
The total number of sources detected by the OM in the specified observation.
U_Number_Sources
The number of sources detected by the OM in the U-band filter in the
specified observation.
B_Number_Sources
The number of sources detected by the OM in the B-band filter in the
specified observation.
V_Number_Sources
The number of sources detected by the OM in the V-band filter in the
specified observation.
UVW2_Number_Sources
The number of sources detected by the OM in the UVW2-band filter in the
specified observation.
UVM2_Number_Sources
The number of sources detected by the OM in the UVM2-band filter in the
specified observation.
UVW1_Number_Sources
The number of sources detected by the OM in the UVW1-band filter in the
specified observation.
Umag_Detlim
The 3-sigma detection limiting magnitude in the U-band filter in the
specified observation, in the Vega photometry system, in magnitudes.

The 3-sigma detection limiting magnitude in the B-band filter in the
specified observation, in the Vega photometry system, in magnitudes.
