XMMSSCLWBD - XMM-Newton 2XMMi-DR3 Selected Source Detections Catalog |
HEASARC Archive |
This table contains the list of 19,637 detections of the 4,330 unique X-ray sources which comprise the authors' sample. The list of 4,330 unique X-ray sources and their classifications is also available as the HEASARC XMMSSCLWBS table.
Classification of X-Ray Sources in the XMM-Newton Serendipitous Source Catalog Lin D., Webb N.A., Barret D. <Astrophys. J. 756, 27 (2012)> =2012ApJ...756...27L
SrcID
The unique source identifier used for the source by the
authors in the present study. For a unique entry in this table, a detection is
specified by the combination of obsid and dr3_srcid (q.v.), which are
'OBS_ID' and 'SRCID' in the 2XMMi-DR3 catalog, respectively. The value of
srcid is different from dr3_srcid only when several 'unique' sources in the
2XMMi-DR3 catalog are rematched together (see Table 1 of the reference paper).
When the source has no detection in the 2XMMi-DR3 catalog for an observation,
the corresponding SRCIDDet is empty, and the fit was not carried out. There
are 17 detections not used in the present study (thus not in this table too),
because of a large discrepancy between the pn and MOS measurements or of the
large extended radius used in the 2XMMi-DR3 catalog (causing fake large
fluxes).
Name
The 2XMMi-DR3 source designation based on its J2000.0 equatorial
coordinates, e.g., '2XMM J005412.9-373309', '2XMMi J170058.4-461107', etc.
This was not present in the original table upon which this HEASARC table
was created (Table 3) but was taken from Table 4 of the same reference.
RA
The mean Right Ascension of the X-ray source in the selected equinox.
This was given in J2000.0 coordinates to a precision of 10-5 degrees
(0.036 arcseconds) in the original table (Table 4 of the reference paper).
Dec
The mean Declination of the X-ray source in the selected equinox.
This was given in J2000.0 coordinates to a precision of 10-5 degrees
(0.036 arcseconds) in the original table (Table 4 of the reference paper).
LII
The Galactic Longitude of the X-ray source.
BII
The Galactic Latitude of the X-ray source.
ObsID
The XMM-Newton observation identification. .
DR3_SrcID
The unique source identifier used for the source in the
2XMM-DR3 Catalog.
There
are 17 detections not used in the present study (thus not in this table too),
because of a large discrepancy between the pn and MOS measurements or of the
large extended radius used in the 2XMMi-DR3 catalog (causing fake large
fluxes).
