INTGCCAT - INTEGRAL IBIS Hard X-Ray Survey of Galactic Center |
HEASARC Archive |
A hard X-ray survey of the galactic-center region with the IBIS telescope of the INTEGRAL observatory: a catalog of sources. Revnivtsev M.G., Sunyaev R.A., Varshalovich D.A., Zheleznyakov V.V., Cherepashchuk A.M., Lutovinov A.A., Churazov E.M., Grebenev S.A., Gilfanov M.R. <Pis'ma Astron. Zh. 30, 430 (2004)> =2004PAZh...30..430R =2004AstL...30..382R
Source_Number
A running number for the hard X-ray source, in order of
decreasing signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), i.e., the obect with source_number=1
has the highest SNR value.
RA
The Right Ascension of the source in the selected equinox. This was given
in J2000 decimal degrees and to a precision of 0.001 degrees in the original
table. The localization accuracy of the Crab Nebula is approximately 0.4
arcminutes (1-sigma). For fainter sources, the localization accuracy worsens
to about 2 - 3 arcminutes (90% confidence).
Dec
The Declination of the source in the selected equinox. This was given
in J2000 decimal degrees and to a precision of 0.001 degrees in the original
table. The localization accuracy of the Crab Nebula is approximately 0.4
arcminutes (1-sigma). For fainter sources, the localization accuracy worsens
to about 2 - 3 arcminutes (90% confidence).
LII
The Galactic Longitude of the source.
BII
The Galactic Latitude of the source.
Flux
The flux of the source in the 18 - 60 keV energy band, in mCrab.
(1 mCrab = 1.36 x 10-11 erg/s/cm2 in this energy band for a source with a
power-law spectrum with a photon index of 2.1).
Flux_Error
The mean error in the flux, in mCrab. This is the statistical
flux uncertainty only, and does not include the systematic uncertainty in the
absolute flux value, which is estimated to be about 10%.
SNR
The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the hard X-ray source.
Name
The identification of the X-ray source with either a previously
known or new INTEGRAL source.
Source_Type
The classification of the X-ray source. Note that the
following abbreviations have been used:
LMXB: low mass X-ray binary HMXB: high mass X-ray binary XB: X-ray binary BH: black hole NS: neutron star AGN: active galactic nucleus CV: cataclysmic variable AXP: anomalous X-ray pulsar SGR: soft gamma repeater
Class
The HEASARC Browse class of the object, based on the value of
the source_type parameter.
