Entry_Number
A sequential identification number for each entry in catalog.
Name
The IAU source designation.
Skyfield_Number
For computational and analysis purposes, the ROSAT All-Sky Survey scans were
broken up into a number of individual observing sequences called sky fields.
The skyfield_number represents the RASS sequence ID number of the sky field.
Skyfield_Source_Number
The number of the individual source in a given sky field observing sequence.
Detection_Likelihood
The statistic derived from the maximum likelihood source detection analysis.
Counts
The background-corrected source counts.
Counts_Error
The error in the background-corrected source counts.
Count_Rate
The background-corrected source count rate, in counts per second.
Count_Rate_Error
The error in the background-corrected source count rate, in counts per second.
Exposure
The source exposure time in seconds.
RA
The source right ascension.

This hardness ratio is calculated from the source counts in the PSPC and
defined as HR1 = (B-A)/(B+A), where A is the PSPC channel range 11-41 and B
is the PSPC channel range 52-201. Each channel can be approximately converted
to energy by multiplying the channel number by 10 eV.
Hardness_Ratio_1_Error
The error in hardness ratio 1.
Hardness_Ratio_2
This hardness ratio is calculated from the source counts in the PSPC and
defined as HR2 = (D-C)/(D+C), where C is the PSPC channel range 52-90 and D
is the PSPC channel range 91-201. Each channel can be approximately converted
to energy by multiplying the channel number by 10 eV.
Hardness_Ratio_2_Error
The error in hardness ratio 2.
Unique_Flag
The number of the "unique" sub-image of the sky field used in the source
detection. Sub-image numbers run from 1 to 9. A value of unique_flag of 0
indicates a source detected in the full-field image only.
Extended_Region_Flag
A flag which indicates that the source lies in or near a region of extended
emission, such as a supernova (a value of 0 means the source lies near region
of extended emission, a value of 1 means the source does not lie near a
region of extended emission).
Nearby_Src_Det_Flag
A flag which indicates detection of nearby sources (0=Best).
Source_Quality_Flag
The source detection quality flag (0=Good).
Max_Amplitude
The maximum variability amplitude, calculated from the maximum count rate and
the minimum count rate, and the corresponding errors for each survey light
curve. The maximum amplitude variation is calculated as the difference of the
maximum count rate (minus its error) and the minimum count rate (plus its
error).
Mean_Count_Rate
The mean source count rate, in counts per second.
Mean_Count_Rate_Error
The standard deviation of mean source count rate in counts per second.
Lc_Counts
The number of counts calculated from the light curve analysis.
Min_Count_Rate
The minimum source count rate in counts per second.
Min_Count_Rate_Error
The error in minimum source count rate in counts per second.
Max_Count_Rate
The maximum source count rate in counts per second.
Max_Count_Rate_Error
The error in maximum source count rate in counts per second.
Lc_Chi2
The chi2 statistic derived from the light curve analysis.
Excess_Variance
The normalized excess variance calculated from the source light curve
analysis. The square of the normalized excess variance is defined as
excess_variance2 = 1/(N u2) Sum(i=1,N) [(Xi - u)2 - sigma_i2]where N is the total number of counts, u the mean count rate, Xi the number in the i-th bin, and sigma_i the standard deviation of the i-th bin.
Excess_Variance_Error
The 1-sigma uncertainty in normalized excess variance. The square of the
excess_variance_error is defined in equation (2) of Boller et al. 2016.
Excess_Variance_Sigma
The excess variance in units of the standard deviation, in sigma.
NH_Gal
The galactic neutral hydrogen density towards the source, in H atoms/cm2.
PLaw_NH
The calculated neutral hydrogen density for the source spectrum from the
power law fit, in H atoms/cm2.
PLaw_NH_Error
The error in neutral hydrogen density derived from the power law fit to the
