SNR 0453-68.5 : WHAT HARD COMPONENT IS? DOES IT HAVE 1.48-S PULSATION?
ABSTRACT
We made timing analyses of about 30 sources in the LMC, using ASCA archival data. Almost all sources were proved to have no pulsation, but SNR 0453-68.5 showed weak evidence of 1.48sec pulsation. In addition, it was found that this SNR has hard component with photon index $\sim$2. These facts are uncommon to "normal" SNR. We made some hypotheses of what this hard component is; Crab-like pulsar or AXP or accretion-powered pulsar or SN1006-like SNR. But available data is statistically too poor to decide which hypothesis is true. So, we propose a long time re-observation of SNR 0453-68.5, to reveal feature of this hard component.
