EXPLOSION ENERGY OF SUPERNOVAE AND METALLICITY OF SUPERNOVA REMNANTS IN THE LARGE MAGELLANIC CLOUD
ABSTRACT
Hughes, Hayashi, and Koyama (1998) made systematic spectral analysis of 10 SNRs in the LMC and applied a evolutional model of SNR, named "Sedov model". This model reveals several features of SNR; metallicity becomes lower toward older one, approaching to the LMC mean metallicity, and an initial explosion energy is considarably diverse. But these features is slightly incomplete because these 10 samples are biased toward younger and brighter one. To supplement this defect, we propose observations of 3 SNRs: 1E0532.6-7102 as older one, 1E0534-6947 and 1E0520.1-6929 as fainter ones. If these SNRs are added to Sedov model samples, we will be able to get more precise evolutional feature of SNR.
