MEASUREMENTS OF LONG-TERM VARIABILITIES OF LBLS
ABSTRACT
ASCA observations of BL Lacertae and 3C279 are proposed. These sources are known as the archetype of the BL Lac objects and OVV quasars, and categorized as the low frequency peaked blazars. We propose long term observations to measure their structure functions which will reveal the central mass and be expected to provide important information of the physics around the accretion disk.
