Data log

Two types of table will be created to describe the contents of the data received from ISAS:

Since a typical observation will span several orbits, and, since observations may begin and end in the middle of an orbit, one of the first tasks of the pipeline will be to identify which FRFs (and parts of FRFs) correspond to a given observation. This information will be taken from the original data files and put into the ``observation log" which will be a database of available data with one entry per pointing. The observation log will be cross-correlated against the planned observation time-line and to identify the PIs and to ascertain the completeness of the observations. A second, more detailed table, the ``instrument mode log", will be generated for each instrument. It will contain one record per change in the instrument mode or satellite pointing.
