The ASCA SIS spectrum of the magnetic cataclysmic variable EX Hya. Emission lines of Ne (neon), Mg (magnesium), Si (silicon), S (sulpher), Ar (argon), and Fe (iron) have been detected. The intensity ratios of these lines prove that X-ray emitting plasma of a range (<1 keV to >5 keV) of temperatures co-exist in this system.
