ASCA GOF Web Site Reorganization

April 23rd, 2002.

We have reorganized the ASCA GOF web pages, to better reflect the post-mission reality and to make it easier (we hope!) for new users to navigate around our site. The major changes are:

  • Creation of FAQ pages: these can now be accessed via the "HELPDESK" button on the left menu bar.
  • Splitting of old "Processing & Data Analysis" page to "Data Processing" (link on the left menu bar) and "Data Analysis" (top menu bar) pages (old page was linked from both). Within the "Data Analysis" page, we have created separate pages for "Data Screening" and "Background Subtraction," as well as emphasizing the existing "Calibration" page.
  • Reorganized "Proposal & Tools," "Archive," and "Timelines & Mission Info" pages to better reflect the status of ASCA as an archival mission.
