Remarks: The above-mentioned duration is the range of the scheduled AstroSat observation. We wish to have exact simultaneous exposures of NICER and AstroSat LAXPC. The allotted exposure with AstroSat LAXPC is 45 ks, and we wish for a simultaneous exposure with NICER as it will be interesting to probe the timing features of the QPO typically observed in this source in a wide energy range (0.1-80 keV).

Description: The allotted observation with AstroSat will have an offset pointing by 0.5 degrees to mitigate the contamination of a nearby bright source GX 5-1. The FOV of NICER is smaller than the angular separation of the sources, and a direct pointing of NICER will avoid contamination. Due to offset, simultaneous SXT observation will not be possible and thus NICER will also constrain the soft X-ray spectrum
