The detectors in the focal plane of the XMA (i.e., PSPC and HRI) will be changed approximately once per month. The exact timings of these changes depend on the approved observing program. However, guest observers should note that prolonged observations with one detector (for example, monitoring objects with time intervals longer than about one week) may not be schedulable.
