This shows the X-ray hardness of the same field as the PSPC image of Perseus. Here red is for soft x-rays (ie. the general background), blue is for hard x-ray energies (ie. the cluster of galaxies at the bottom center), and yellow for intermediate energies (ie. the star Algol to the left bottom.
