The young stellar cluster NGC 2516

The next image is a `true colour' X-ray image of the young stellar cluster NGC2516 produced from archiveD data of a 77000 sec (more than 21 hours!) ROSAT observation. The field of view is about 40 x 40 arcmin. The lower image is an optical image of this cluster (about the same field of view).
