GSFC XMM-Newton GOF Status Report #025: SAS version 5.0 released

Version 5.0 of the XMM-Newton Science Analysis System is now available
at

		    http://xmm.vilspa.esa.es/sas/

This is the first public release of the SAS.

The SAS is available in binary form for Solaris 2.6 (can be used on
Solaris 2.7), Tru64, and RedHat 6.2 (can be used on SuSE 6.4). The
source code for the SAS is also available.
