Recommendation for HEASARC Dataset Identification

Publications that analyze HEASARC data should have it specified in a table of the paper that lists the exact "HEASARC dataset identifiers" for all HEASARC datasets. These identifiers for the HEASARC data are called ObsIDs (or Sequence IDs for older missions).

The future of dataset identification is the digital object identifier (DOI), which will be the default method for authors to cite data, software, and services.
