In a coordinated observation the ROSAT satellite will be pointed in a
specified pointing direction during the time interval between
``Start Time (in UT)'' and ``Stop Time (in UT)'' in the Constraints Form.
It is very important for guest observers to realise in general
that during such a specified time interval data gaps will occur
during the times
of radiation belt crossings and earth occultations. The latter intervals
may be used to schedule other unrelated observations.
Specifically, it can not be guaranteed that a given target is observable
at any specific time (see § 7.5 ).
