All observations with observing constraints other than those
listed in Chapter 7 are considered
``time-critical'' and the Constraints Form must be filled out.
Note that your proposal must be rated with the priorities A and B (cf.,
§ 8.2.1
, § 8.3
) in order to be scheduled;
it thus faces additional competition in the
proposal selection process and further, the total time available for
such constrained observations will not be greater than 5 percent
of the total observing time (cf., Chapter 8
).
A Constraints Form has to be filled out for every
target to which additional constraints apply.
Four different types of constraints are considered:
Note that only one type of observing constraint can be selected.
