Information Services

   

Connecting to the captive account XRAY the user finds on-line help by typing 'help'. The databases are accessed via the program BROWSE allowing to select and extract data and to use the built-in analysis package. Presently available are:

ROSPUBLIC list of accessible PSPC and HRI datasets
ROSPIMAGE list of accessible HDS images of PSPC observations
ROSHIMAGE list of accessible HDS images of HRI observations
ROSWPUBLIC list of available pointed WFC datasets
ROSWFC list of accessible HDS images of WFC observations

Other databases contain information on ROSAT timelines, observation status, etc. (ROSLTL, ROSSTL, ROSAO, ROSPROC) and standard astronomical catalogues.
