News #243, 6 May 2021 CONTENTS [1]XMM-Newton Users' Group Meeting #22: Invitation from the UG Chair [2]Pflix, a portable version of the FLIX Software available NEWS XMM-Newton Users' Group Meeting #22: Invitation from the UG Chair The XMM-Newton Users' Group will be holding its yearly meeting this coming June 9th and 10th. As is usual, the UG welcomes all comments and suggestions on any relevant aspect of XMM-Newton operations and future direction. You may send these either directly to me, or if you prefer to any member of the UG, before May 28th. Pflix estimates flux upper-limits for positions in EPIC pointed fields. It can be compiled with gfortran to run on different operating systems (Linux, MacOS, or Windows). It gets the data files directly from the ESAC servers, so has access to all the currently public observations.
