The electronic correction removes the small-scale nonlinearities
induced by the PSPC wires.
This correction is independent of 
,
but is a function of pulse height.
For every 
or 
position,
a correction value is calculated from the
temporal-gain-corrected pulse height, 
(Sect. 3.4.1),
using a parabola.
The correctionvector is added to the original position of the event.
